 Stella McCartney is one of the few designers nowadays who refuse to use leather and contribute to the horrors of factory farming, which as we know is an unspeakably cruel and barbarous practice that for some reason still exists. Next time when you see a pretty leather handbag in a famous designer store, know that it once belonged to an animal who once was alive and had to die by torture, and remember that by purchasing leather you're indirectly paying to slaughterhouses and factory farms.
 Indeed, it's not that easy for some to say "no" to leather, but then it's important to remember that there are other fashion alternatives and that using animals just shouldn't be one of them.
